Cadê a Marmita?
THE PROJECT
From still photos
to a TV opener.
EPTV commissioned me to create the opener for “Cadê a Marmita?”, Renato’s segment on the TV program Espia Só. The starting material was a photograph of the setting and a set of photos of the presenter.
I cleaned up the setting, cut out individual elements and built a layered composition. I developed the animation and sound design to turn those still images into a distinctive opening sequence.

01 / Setting photograph
The supplied setting. I removed visual distractions and separated elements to build the animation layers.
02 / Prepared character
One of the character elements used in the composition, shown against green. Renato’s poses are part of the opener’s animated collage style.
03 / Animated composition
A frame from the finished opener: setting, cutouts, outlines and title brought together in one scene. Sound design completes the sequence in the video above.
